For schools

Teachers don't need more data. They need clarity.

Thirty students, hundreds of responses a week, dozens of interlinked concepts. Sublogy does the analysis and hands back the short list — the concepts worth a period of your time, and the students each one affects.

The problem isn't effort. It's arithmetic.

Teachers already do an extraordinary amount of work, and almost all of them can tell you which students are struggling. What no one can do by hand is work out why — at the concept level, for thirty students at once, every week.

30+

students per class

Each with a different set of secure and shaky concepts.

Hundreds

of responses each week

Every one of them evidence about several concepts at once.

Dozens

of interconnected concepts

Each depending on earlier ones, often from earlier years.

30

different learning needs

Which is what a single remedial worksheet cannot serve.

That is not a workload that can be solved by working harder. It is more information than a person can hold — which is exactly the kind of problem software should be taking off a teacher's hands.

And the cost of not doing it is specific. When the analysis can't be done, the response defaults to re-teaching the topic where the mistake appeared. For a student whose real problem is a foundational gap two years upstream, that intervention is effortful, well-intentioned and almost entirely wasted.

What Sublogy does for a class

Sublogy gives every student practice matched to what they have already mastered, with a worked example behind every question and a study assistant when they get stuck. Underneath, CUBALE reads every response as evidence about concepts, traces weak concepts down to the earliest idea that isn't secure, and adapts each student's practice accordingly.

What reaches the teacher is not thirty dashboards. It is the short list of things worth acting on.

A class view, in practice
  • Concepts needing attention, each with the number of students affected — so a whole-class re-teach can be aimed at the idea that actually justifies one.
  • Emerging gaps: concepts starting to slip for a handful of students, before they show up in marks.
  • Individual insights: which student is working on which concept, and which are on track.
  • A suggested focus: where the teacher's own time is likely to be worth most this week.

The point is triage. A teacher with thirty students and one free period does not need more data; they need to know which three students and which one concept to spend it on.

What teachers get

Concept-level class insight

Which concepts the class is weak on, and how many students each affects — rather than a column of percentages that says who failed but not why.

Assignments and tests

Set work for a class or an individual, and see how it went at the concept level.

Early warning

Gaps surfaced while they are still small — when a short targeted intervention still closes them.

Practice that runs itself

Every student gets work at their own level without thirty worksheets being prepared, and every question comes with a worked example.

Support at the point of confusion

Sublogy Buddy explains the step a student is stuck on, in simpler words — restricted to the lesson on screen, and screened before it is shown.

Olympiad preparation

Students choose the chapters they have studied; Sublogy generates the test, analyses the attempt and returns a worked solution for every incorrect answer.

One thing Sublogy deliberately does not do is decide for the teacher. CUBALE identifies patterns and detects likely gaps; it recommends areas for reinforcement. What to do about a particular child is a teaching judgement, and the person in the room can see things the data cannot.

What students get

  • Work at the right level. Questions are chosen to match what the student has already mastered, so the work stays hard enough to be interesting and easy enough to finish.
  • A worked example behind every question. Not just the answer, but the steps, written the way a teacher would explain them.
  • Help when they're stuck, from a study assistant kept to the lesson in front of it and built to help them understand rather than hand over answers.
  • Visible progress. Belts, White through to Black, so effort turns into something a student can see.
  • The foundation fixed, not the symptom. If the real gap is two years upstream, that's what they get to work on.

Coverage: classes 6 to 10 — Mathematics, Science, English Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading Skill, Spoken and Written Expression, and Reasoning, plus Maths, Science and English Olympiad preparation.

How a school rollout works

  1. The school creates the accountsThere is no sign-up inside the app. The school provides the information needed to create accounts and decides who is authorised to use the service, and for how long.
  2. Students sign in with a school-issued usernameSublogy runs as a web application and as iOS and Android apps, so it works in a computer lab, on a shared tablet, or on a phone at home.
  3. Teachers are mapped to their classesA teacher sees the progress of students in their own classes — not the whole school.
  4. Students practise; CUBALE builds the pictureThe concept-level view fills in as evidence accumulates. It gets more useful the more a class uses it, because a concept is judged on patterns rather than single answers.
  5. Teachers act on the short listConcepts needing attention, students affected, and where a period of teacher time is likely to be worth most.
  6. Accounts end when the school says soAn account lasts as long as the school's subscription. When a school ends its subscription, or asks us to remove a student, that student's personal data is deleted within 90 days.

Data, privacy and safeguarding

Sublogy is used by children, and the product is restrained accordingly. This is the section worth forwarding to whoever signs off on software in your school.

  • No advertising of any kind, and no advertising software in the app.
  • No behavioural tracking or profiling. No analytics tools following students across other apps or websites.
  • No selling or renting of personal data — to anyone, for any purpose.
  • No in-app purchases, and no payment details collected in the app.
  • No social logins or sharing features, and no student-to-student messaging.
  • Minimal collection. Name, class, school and username; answers, scores, time taken and progress; and basic technical records. No phone number, home address, photograph, date of birth or location. The app does not use the camera, microphone, contacts or location, and never asks permission to.
  • Data is stored in India, encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • The AI assistant is constrained. Sublogy Buddy is restricted to the lesson being studied, its replies are screened for material unsuitable for children before they are shown, nothing identifying the student is sent with a question, conversations are not stored on our servers, and our agreement with the AI provider does not permit Sublogy data to be used to train its models.
  • The school stays in control. Schools create and manage accounts and can ask us at any time to show, correct or delete a student's data.

The complete detail is in the privacy policy. There is more on how the AI is used, and where its limits are, on AI-powered learning.

Questions from schools

How do schools get Sublogy?

Sublogy is provided to students through their school. The school creates and manages student accounts, decides who is authorised to use the service and for how long, and teachers see the progress of students in their own classes. There is no sign-up inside the app. Schools can get in touch at sublogy@sublogy.com.

Which classes and subjects are covered?

Classes 6 to 10, across Mathematics, Science, English Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading Skill, Spoken and Written Expression, and Reasoning — plus preparation for the Maths, Science and English Olympiads.

What do teachers actually see?

A class view of the concepts needing attention and how many students each one affects, emerging gaps that have not yet shown up in marks, and individual student insights showing which concept each student is working on. Teachers can also set assignments and tests.

Do students need their own devices?

Sublogy runs as a web application and as iOS and Android apps, so it works on a school computer lab, a shared tablet or a phone at home. Students sign in with the username their school issued.

How is student data handled?

Sublogy collects what a student needs to learn and a school needs to track progress, and nothing more. There is no advertising, no behavioural tracking, no in-app purchases, and personal data is never sold or rented. Data is stored in India and encrypted in transit and at rest. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

Does a teacher have to act on every recommendation?

No. Sublogy surfaces concepts worth looking at, with the evidence behind them. The decision about what to do with a particular student stays with the teacher, who can see things the data cannot.
